Partners and Allies

For 20 years, the predecessor to the Cape Floristic Region Partnership, known as CAPE, brought partners together to protect this unique plant kingdom in South Africa. Over the course of the two decades, this collaboration brought about lasting relationships. Today, those relationships live on in the CFRP – with more than 40 partners currently signed up as parties to the Memorandum of Understanding.

At the same time, new friends have joined the CFRP mission along the way. Organisations, companies or government partners who are working to conserve the biodiversity of the Cape Floristic Region and the freshwater, estuarine, coastal and marine ecosystems it supports, can easily join the partnership.
